From the U.S.: Etta James sings I’m So Sorry for You on THE!!!! BEAT. THE!!!! BEAT was a 1/2 hour syndicated Rhythm & Blues and Soul music TV show out of Nashville, Tennessee. It ran for one year (1966) and all the episodes were in color. THE!!!! BEAT was hosted by pioneering R&B disc jockey Bill “Hoss” Allen. Many of the songs were performed live in the studio with house band, The Beat Boys, led by the R&B legend, Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown. Rest in Peace, Etta James.
